Amy Floman is a small independent brand creating one-of-a-kind leather bags and accessories from reclaimed leather, including leather scraps and second-hand leather garments.

Each piece begins with the material itself. Variations in colour, texture, patterns and original stamps and markings left on the leather are embraced and incorporated into the design, allowing the material’s past to become part of its new identity.

Working with limited amounts of leather means that every material has its own possibilities and limitations. Some designs can only be made in a handful of pieces before a particular colour runs out, making each drop different from the last. Once a material is gone, a design may never be recreated in quite the same way.

Every piece is handmade with the intention of making the most of what already exists, creating unique accessories.

Educated at KV Art School and has a Bachelor’s degree in Design from HDK-Valand
